We had a lot of dire predictions beforehand concerning the weather but clearly someone in our group is living right. I knew we would not be denied a glorious time, but Saturday’s weather was more than I could have hoped for. (Thank you, Lord for the weather and for allowing us all to go and come safely.) Even with the low water this trip in my opinion ranks up there with some of our best. I enjoyed the food, all of you, I had some of my oldest and dearest friends attend and my sons, now long past grown still came, and can proudly say they have never missed a trip. Wow, 17 years goes by in a “blink”. They grow up so fast.
Be sure to checkout http://camptatum.com. I worked late trying to get as many of our memories posted as possible and though I made a dent, I still have a lot to go. I have glanced at some of the video and it will be a treat for all of us to see one of my favorite Iron Men, Andy Halbrook do “something” off the giant cliff in SLOW MO, UP CLOSE. Be sure to check the website out today and for the next several days as the staff & management try to completely document the memories we made.
Thank you all for coming. The picture of our smallest Iron Man (below) jumping off the cliff is the type of “lifetime memories” that I have mentioned to you in the past that this trip produces. Jackson and his Dad will share that moment forever.
I had so much fun. Let’s do it again. I hope you will join us and spread the word that our 18th Annual, Buffalo 2013 trip will be coming once again the 3rd weekend of April. Let’s leave no father and son behind next year!
Have a great week, and thanks again for joining us this year.
